OPTIWIND
Fully automatic two drum winder for most kind of paper and paperboard
The OPTIWIND is a two drum winder for paper and paperboard. It guarantees high working speed, unwinder for very large rolls (both for pope tambours or shaftless), rewinding on two drums with large diameter for ensuring smooth function and perfect winding quality. The two drums are driven by two independent A.C. motors.
The rider roller moves linearly up and down with hydraulically adjustable pressure through proportional valves and it is also driven by a separate motor. The finished reels are unloaded to the floor by a tilting cradle.

- Automatic empty tambour removal at the unwinder
- Parking system for the new mother rolls and automatic feeding of the rolls to the unwinder

- Automatic closing of the last layer of the finished reels and automatic transversal cut as well as unloading
- Automatic new core loading and glueing at the rewinder
